WellCare Advantage

In an effort to help our clients successfully implement more health promoting activities we have built the WellCare Advantage program. By following the program our clients can quickly setup an effective wellness program that will benefit both the employees and the bottom line. The key to the program is making the planning and implementation easy and cost effective. We want every employee to experience better heath and a move active and productive lifestyle. Lets get started - here is the outline for the program:

The Plan - This is the first step, making sure a full and comprehensive plan is in place. The plan built around a timeline that will outline the introduction, the meeting and seminar schedule, web and e-mail programs, written communications and health activities for a two year period. Following the plan as outlined will assure continued success.

The Commitment - Management must be committed to the program and show their commitment through a full introduction and continued support. A well-written letter of support is a must. This letter will introduce the program and must deliver the commitment of the company and benefits of the program. The management team will direct the program and stay involved throughout the life of the program.

The Roll Out - This is where the employees get involved. The plan is introduced using employee meetings, as well as written communications. The roll out plan will include a summary of the physical activity challenges, the resources available to employees and the seminars that will be provider through the program. The resources include clearly outlining the preventive care services that are available throughout the employee benefit plans, the on-line health assessment opportunities, and the nutrition and exercise programs that can be accessed through the program.

The Communication Platform - Make sure employee understand the program and continue to get useful wellness information. The communication plan is built using a series of newsletters, e-mail blasts, and printed wellness alerts; along with employee meetings and events.

The Follow Through - This assures the program continues to deliver results. Employers must continue to plan and implement new enhancements. This is accomplished by using our tools and resources that include web-based wellness sites, employee surveys and new health promotion activities.
